About

Myself

My name is Anna Smith. I am a 27-year-old community college student, hoping to eventually major in Human Development, which is the multidisciplinary study of Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology and Biology. This major will prepare me to work in a supportive role in the medical field, which is something I am currently seriously considering.

I am also currently a volunteer at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Murrieta. It is an interesting experience, and I enjoy being able to serve in that capacity.

From December of 2013 until September of 2014 I worked at a Brookdale Senior Living community as a server. This gave me the opportunity to become familiar with the special needs and, (endearing), quirks, of the elderly. I really enjoyed being able to build relationships with and learn all about the residents who I worked with.

Ever since it was introduced to me a couple years ago in my Intro to Psychology class, I have had a rather strong interest in the concept of Holisim, and especially, Holistic Health. I believe strongly in mind-body connections, and that all aspects of an individual's life experiences affect their overall health.

I wanted to share some of the knowledge that I have found on various topics relating to holistic health, which is why I decided to create this website. I hope that it will be helpful and uplifting to you.

Sincerely,

           Anna
